From install to live in about two weeks: five steps
You go live about two weeks after install, in five steps: plan, data and system, scope of work, a test on your own orders, then a test report you approve.

After installing, merchants usually ask when orders start reaching the ERP, and what they have to do until then. You go live about two weeks after install, after five steps that end with a test report you approve.
Our team does the setup with you. Your part is a few decisions and two approvals: the scope of work and the test report.
What to have ready
It helps to have these ready before you install:
- Your paid orders per month, plus your busiest month of the season, such as Ramadan or White Friday. This number picks your plan.
- The name of the system your store runs on, whether it is an ERP or an accounting app.
- The data you want connected, such as orders and returns, or stock.
- Who on your team can open the system’s settings, since API keys are usually created inside the system.
The five steps
Install and choose a plan
Install the app from the Zid App Market and pick a plan by your monthly orders.
Data, system and API keys
Pick the data to connect and the system, then enter your API keys. Help getting them is available.
Approve the scope of work
Review the scope of work and approve it.
Test on your store's orders
Our team sets up the link with you, then it is tested on your own store's orders.
Approve the report and go live
Approve the test report, and the link goes live.
From install to live takes about two weeks.
1. Install and choose a plan
You install the app from the Zid App Market and choose a plan in the same step. The plan depends on your monthly orders and the features you need.
- Starter covers 100 orders a month, with orders and returns plus AI analysis.
- Growth covers 500 orders and adds stock and the grow-sales tools; price sync is set up on request.
- Business covers 2,000 orders and adds priority support and multi-warehouse routing, which sends each order to the warehouse that serves the shopper’s ship-to city.
Trials run 7 days on monthly billing and 30 days on yearly billing. Each plan’s details and prices are on the app’s page in the Zid App Market.
Insights and the assistant work right after install, before your ERP is connected, from your Zid data alone. The insights dashboard is on by default and shows an overview, sales, customers and products. It loads your last 30 days of orders after install, then refreshes every night, so the dashboard and the assistant are there for you while the link is set up. More in Three things that work from day one after install.
2. Data, system and API keys
Here you decide which data to connect and which system it goes to.
The data follows the plan. Orders and returns come with Starter: every paid order is posted to your system with the customer, items, tax and shipping, and every return posts as one credit note with Odoo, ERPNext and Wafeq. Stock comes with Growth: stock flows from your ERP warehouses to each Zid location.
The app works with Odoo 18 and 19, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and ERPNext as ERPs, with Wafeq as an accounting app, and with any system that has a public API.
Then you enter the system’s API keys, with help getting them if you need it.
3. Approve the scope of work
You approve the scope of work before the test. Check it against what you picked in step 2: the data to connect, and the system. Raise any comment before you approve. This is the first of your two approvals. The second is the test report in step 5.
4. Setup and a test on your store’s orders
Our team does the setup with you, on the system you chose. Then the link is tested on your own store’s orders, so the test runs on orders you know.
5. Approve the test report and go live
After the test you get the test report. You review it and approve it, and the link goes live. From then on, every paid order will reach your system with the customer, items, tax and shipping, and each order is posted within seconds of reaching us.
Before you approve, compare a few orders in the report with the same orders in Zid and in your system.

Common mistakes
Where the app takes over
Once you are live, the app handles:
- Every paid order is posted to your system with the customer, items, tax and shipping, then read back to confirm it is there.
- Depending on your ERP, the customer is linked to their ERP record or a new record is created, or orders post under one customer account chosen during setup. The same order never posts twice.
- Every return posts as one credit note with Odoo, ERPNext and Wafeq.
- From Growth, stock flows from your ERP warehouses to each Zid location and is read back to confirm it.
- The ERP document number appears as a comment on the Zid order with every system.
- Updating the order status in Zid is available with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, and is switched on during setup.
- posted within seconds of reaching us
- Each order
- orders delivered to ERPs
- Over 14,000
- lost orders
- Zero
Questions merchants ask

About two weeks from install, once you approve the test report.
Who sets up the link?
Our team does the setup with you, then the link is tested on your store’s orders before go-live.
Does anything work before go-live?

Is there a trial?
