Connect your Zid store to your ERP or accounting system

Every paid order from your Zid store is posted to your ERP or accounting system, each return as a credit note with Odoo, ERPNext and Wafeq, and stock flows from your ERP warehouses to your Zid locations. Each system has a page with what syncs and how setup works.

What happens to every paid order, with any system
  1. Order arrives

The paid-order notice reaches the app from Zid.

  2. Customer

Depending on your ERP, the customer is linked to their ERP record or a new record is created, or orders post under one customer account chosen during setup.

  3. Posted

The order is posted with the customer, items, tax and shipping, exactly once.

  4. Read back

The order is read back from the ERP to confirm it is there.

  5. Document number

The ERP document number appears as a comment on the Zid order with every system.

  6. Order status

Updating the order status in Zid is available with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, and is switched on during setup.

Step 2 depends on your ERP, and step 6 is available with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The other steps are the same with every system.

Questions merchants ask

My system is not on the list. Can it be connected?

If it has a public API, the link can be built for you on request. The details are agreed in the scope of work.

How long does it take?

Our team does the setup with you. You go live about two weeks after install, once you approve the test report.

Is stock included in every plan?

Starter covers orders and returns. Stock starts on Growth, and price sync is set up on request. Business adds multi-warehouse routing: each order goes to the warehouse that serves the shopper's ship-to city, from a city list set during setup.

Do I need API keys?

Yes, connecting your ERP needs its API keys, and help getting them is available. Insights and the assistant work right after install, before your ERP is connected and with no API keys.
