Seasonal coupons you approve, in five steps
The assistant in the app answers from your store data and creates the coupon in Zid only after you approve. The app never deletes coupons.

Before White Friday in November, stores ask the same questions: which coupon, on which products, until when? After the season comes another: why is this coupon still running?
With the Zid Integrations app, you check your store data in the app and decide the coupon. It is created in Zid only after you approve, and after the season it is deactivated or updated. The app never deletes a coupon.
What you need before you start
Have these ready before you ask the assistant:
- The season and its start and end dates, such as White Friday or Ramadan.
- The products whose margin can carry a discount, and the products no discount should touch.
- The deepest discount your store will accept this season.
- Where you will promote the coupon, such as messages and social media.
- A record of past seasonal coupons, if you have one: the code, the dates and the products.
The five steps
Check your store data
See best sellers in the insights dashboard, and ask the assistant about coupons and stock.
Review the coupon details
You set the discount, the products and the dates, and review the coupon before anything happens.
Approve
No coupon is created until you approve it.
The coupon is in your Zid store
Once you approve, the assistant creates the coupon in your Zid store.
Deactivate or update after the season
When the season ends, the coupon is deactivated or updated. The app never deletes a coupon.
1. Check your store data
Two places in the app help before a season. The insights dashboard, on by default at install, shows your best sellers in its products view and your returning buyers in its customers view, refreshed every night.
The assistant in the app answers in Arabic or English about your orders, customers, products, coupons and store settings. Useful questions before a season:
- Which coupons are active?
- How much stock is left of this product, and is it published?
- Which customers have ordered the most?
A list answer shows up to 15 rows at a time, and customer emails and phone numbers are masked. The answers help you pick the products the coupon covers and avoid overlapping with a coupon already running. The coupon itself stays your decision: the discount, the products and the dates.
2. Review the coupon details
According to the Zid Help Center, a discount code in Zid can carry these settings: a percentage or a fixed amount, a minimum purchase, specific products or categories, start and end dates, a total usage count, and a usage count per customer.
Before you approve, review the details. Three matter most: the end date, the usage limit and the products covered.
The total usage count caps the whole season. Per the Zid Help Center, once it is reached the discount stops working. The per-customer count sets how often one customer can use it.
What you decide for each season:
| Item | What you decide |
|---|---|
| Season | Its name, start date and end date |
| Discount | A percentage or a fixed amount, within what your margin can carry |
| Products | The products or categories the coupon covers |
| End date | The last day of the season |
| Usage limit | Total uses, and uses per customer |
| Record | The code, the season and the dates, in your store’s records |
3. Approve
No coupon is created before you approve it. If a detail is wrong, such as a wrong end date or a product that cannot take the discount, do not approve. Ask again with the right details.
The same rule covers everything the assistant does, always after you approve: creating a coupon, adding wallet credit for up to 50 shoppers per run, changing an order status, or retrying a failed sync.
4. The coupon is in your Zid store
Once you approve, the assistant creates the coupon in your Zid store. Then share the code on your channels. A different code per channel shows which one brought the orders.
During the season, track the orders that used the coupon. Per the Zid Help Center, the discount management page in the Zid dashboard lists them for each discount. The app’s insights dashboard, on by default at install, shows an Orders with a coupon metric in its overview, refreshed every night.
5. Deactivate or update after the season
A coupon left open keeps giving the discount. When the season ends, deactivate it, or update it if the season is extended. For White Friday, set an end date that matches the last day of the offer, then check for coupons still running the day after.
The app can create, update and deactivate a coupon in Zid, and never deletes one. A deactivated coupon stays in your store as a reference for the next season.
Keep a simple record for each season: the code, the season, the dates, the products and how many orders used the coupon. Next season then starts from last season’s result.
Common mistakes
Where the app fits

- Once you approve, the assistant creates the coupon in your Zid store.
- The app can create, update and deactivate a coupon in Zid, and never deletes one.
- The insights dashboard, on by default at install, covers overview, sales, customers and products, refreshed nightly.

Questions merchants ask
Is a coupon created before I approve it?
No. A coupon is created only after you approve it.
Does the app delete coupons from past seasons?
No. The app never deletes a coupon, and a deactivated coupon stays in your store for reference.
Which language can I use with the assistant?
Arabic or English. The answers come from your own store data.
Can I edit a coupon directly in Zid?
Yes. Per the Zid Help Center, the Zid dashboard lets you edit a discount’s settings and view the orders that used it.
For stock and orders, see the White Friday back-office checks. To ask the assistant about your store data before the season, install the app from the Zid App Market.
